Obituary

Teresa Swann Price went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus on Sunday, January 19, 2025.

Teresa loved the Lord and was a passionate prayer warrior. She worked at Montreat College for over 32 years considering her work as a ministry to those she served.

Teresa was preceded in death by her beloved son, Aaron Vaughn Price; parents, Rev. Vaughn and Hazel Swann and niece, Savannah Faith Swann.

She graduated from Montreat College with an Associate of Science degree, a Bachelor’s in business administration and a Master’s degree in Leadership and Management. Teresa had several hobbies such as writing, reading, drawing, oil painting and playing the piano. She served as a pianist at several churches in the area in her younger years. She enjoyed all the children of her son’s friends who so lovingly kept in touch with her and Tommy. Teresa was known as Momma T to the college students and Aaron’s friends.

Teresa is survived by her husband, Tommy Price and stepchildren, Brian Price, Teonna Price and Chad Price; sister, Susan Swann; brother, John Swann; nephew, Kris Cline (Leya); niece, Alicia Ingle (Steve); great nephews, Christian Cline, Brandon Bowman and Cooper Ingle; great niece, Emilia Cline and in-laws, Terry and Anita Price.

A graveside service will be held Tuesday, January 28, 2025 at 1:00pm at Mountain View Memorial Park.
