Obituary

Juanita May Allen, 83, of Inman, South Carolina, formerly of Black Mountain, North Carolina, passed away peacefully while under care in Chesnee, South Carolina. She was born on April 9, 1942, in Louisville, Kentucky, to the late Willard and Lucille Liter of Indiana.

Juanita spent the majority of her life in Black Mountain, where she raised her family and lived out her deep faith in Jesus Christ. She was a longtime member of Bee Tree Christian Church, where she found fellowship and strength.

She worked for many years at Beacon Manufacturing before retiring, and later continued her service to others through her work at Highland Farms Retirement Community. Known for her giving spirit, Juanita was a caregiver at heart and always put the needs of others before her own.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Troy Allen of Black Mountain and Howard Webb of Black Mountain.

Juanita is survived by her two sons, Mitchell (Mary) Webb of Inman, SC, and Robert (Gina Linares) Webb of Forest City, NC. She was a proud grandmother to River Vasiloff of Hillsborough, NC; Brennon Webb of Forest City, NC; Gibson Webb of Asheville, NC; Shannon Branch of Autaugaville, AL; Samuel Branch of Marion, NC; Crystal Branch of Autaugaville, AL; and Isabella Wooten of Chesnee, SC, who was also her loving caretaker. She was also blessed with great-grandchildren in Autaugaville, AL: Jashuna Brown, Jason Brown, Daniel Warren, Terry Warren, and Max Warren.

Juanita will be remembered for her faith, her love for family, and her lifelong devotion to caring for others.

A celebration of life service will be held Thursday, September 11, 2025, at 11:00am in the chapel of Harwood Home for Funerals with Pastor Mike Siemens officiating. The burial will be in Mountain View Memorial Park.
