Obituary

Regina Baird Allman Scotten, 76, of Black Mountain, NC peacefully passed away on Friday, September 12, 2025 after a long illness.

She was born on January 21, 1949 in Asheville, NC to the late Edward Baird and Blanche Meadors Bass Allman. She grew up in Black Mountain, NC and graduated from Charles D. Owen High School in 1967. She went on to work for Owen Manufacturing for over 25 years.

She had a special fondness for the beach and loved to read and do crossword puzzles in pen. She always joked she should have been a librarian.

She is survived by her children, Kelli Bishop of Black Mountain and Brian (Melanie) Scotten of Asheville; six grandchildren and too many to name aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

A Graveside service will be held Wednesday, October 15, 2025 at 2:00pm at Mountain View Memorial Park, Black Mountain, NC.
